Path/Line Detector for Line Following Robots, TCRT5000 Infrared Sensor

The infrared sensor module is equipped with a Vishay TCRT5000 sensor and is designed for line following robots.

The on-board comparator IC triggers the output when a white surface is detected. It is already set up for a distance of up to 2 cm so you don't have to adjust any thresholds by yourself. Just connect VCC to 3.3V or 5V, GND to GND and you're ready to read the digital output value from OUT.
