Water Flow Rate Sensor, 1/2"

Measure your water consumption using this YF-S201C water flow sensor and your Arduino Board. This module has an 1/2" thread on both ends and can be connected to your warm and cold water lines. The flow rate is measured using a hall sensor which makes this module very durable.

The yellow pin outputs an square wave signal which indicates the flow rate and can be connected to your microcontroller board. The flow rate can then be calculated using this simple equation:

frequency of the signal in Hz / 5  ≈ volumetric flow rate in L/min

Please note that this sensor should be installed vertically and should not be exposed to temperatures above 80˚C.
