The servo-steered 4WD chassis features a unique steering mechanism distinct from conventional designs. Instead of relying on a left-right differential steering system, it employs a rear-wheel motor drive combined with a front steering mechanism, allowing precise forward, backward, and directional control.
Inspired by professional RC racing car principles, the steering system uses two pull rods connected to a servo, ensuring smooth and responsive left and right turns. The chassis is powered by a single motor, securely mounted with an integral die-cast aluminum fixing piece, which ensures a tight connection between the motor and the transmission shaft. To enhance flexibility, the transmission shaft is supported by two flanged bearings, promoting smoother motor rotation.
For added versatility, the chassis includes two acrylic mounting plates on top, providing space to securely attach components such as a main board, motor driver, and battery, making it ideal for robotics and DIY projects.
Please note: The car chassis is shipped as loose pieces and requires self-installation upon receipt. motor drivers and microcontroller boards are not included.
